Admissions Criteria:
We seek students who demonstrate curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to contribute to our school community. Our admissions decisions are based on a holistic review of each application, which includes the student’s previous academic performance, teacher recommendations, and parent reflections on their educational preferences.
Application Requirements:
In addition to completing the standard application form and submitting academic records, all prospective parents must include a written response addressing the following:
- Reflect on Public School Experiences. Share any concerns or areas of dissatisfaction you have with the public school system, including specific experiences or general aspects that prompted you to consider alternative education.
- Why New Heights Academy at Summit? Describe what drew you to New Heights Academy at Summit, including specific aspects of our philosophy, curriculum, or community that you feel will benefit your child and family.
This written response helps us understand your family’s educational values and expectations, allowing us to assess whether New Heights Academy at Summit will be a mutually beneficial match.
Additional Steps:
Once your application is complete, a school representative will contact you to schedule a family interview and student assessment. The admissions committee will review applications and notify families of acceptance decisions based on alignment with our school’s mission and available space.
